The sudden legal move, executed by Broward Sheriff's Office deputies, targets all sitting commissioners, County Administrator Monica Cepero, and several high-ranking administration, legal, and aviation officials.
According to internal communications from acting County Attorney Annika Ashton, the state's inquiry directly targets a controversial feasibility review conducted by consulting firm Jensen Hughes.
