Florida Panthers traveled to Boston for the first game since former Bruins Captain Brad Marchand was traded to the Cats. Marchand describing what it was like to walk into TD Garden as the visiting team as "different."
Marchand practiced with the cats but did not play - he's week-to-week with an upper body injury. The Cats 6-game winning streak snapped by a Bruins 3-2 comeback win.
The Cats travel to Toronto Thursday. Tampa Bay Lightning w/l at Carolina Tuesday. They travel to Philly Thursday.
The Atlantic division leading Florida Panthers will be without Aaron Ekblad for the next 20 games. He was suspended without pay for violating the NHL's policy on performance enhancing drugs.
The 29-year-old will miss the team's final 18 regular-season games as well as two playoff games if the Panthers qualify.
Ekblad releasing a statement that he had taken something to help recover from recent injuries but had not checked with the team first, apologizing to his teammates and fans.
