Trick-or-Treat Safety Tips

The spotlight on safety as the kids get ready to go trick-or-treating tonight. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Spokeswoman Erika Benitez says always go in large groups, bring a cell phone and only approach houses with outside lights on. Costumes should be completely flame-retardant, including wigs beards and capes. Check all of the candy before your kids eat it, throw out anything that's not properly sealed. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement encourages everyone to download their App so you can see where sex offenders have registered a residential address.
