The 8th Annual Taste of the Cape, a community event held in Cape Coral that celebrates both the culinary arts and live music, will move to Tarpon Point Marina this season. A partnership, originally developed between the Gulf Coast Symphony and Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce Education Committee, highlights some of the best restaurants in Cape Coral, a juried arts and craft fair, and brings premier live entertainment, including a full symphony performance, to the South Cape area. The event draws thousands of attendees each year and will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022.
For the first time at the Taste of the Cape enjoy a unique VIP experience, with a private tent with tables and servers, VIP bathrooms, VIP parking, preferred stage-front seating, and a host of other amenities. VIP passes are extremely limited and will sell out fast.
All proceeds from the Taste of the Cape support the Education Committee’s scholarship program and the Gulf Coast Symphony’s music education and community programs. The event is being supported by the Gunterberg Charitable Foundation.
Taste of the Cape runs from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 6, 2022, with musical performances throughout the day. Various Bands will perform, and the Gulf Coast Symphony will present a Symphony at Sunset concert at 4:30 pm. General Admission is $10, VIP passes are $60, with food and drink prices ranging from $3–$8. 100% of net proceeds from this event go directly to local student scholarships and music outreach programs in the community.
